Dan Parilis (Brian, Writer/Director)

Writer, producer, and director Dan Parilis is a dedicated independent filmmaker for whom Themes & Intermissions is a labor of love, and the culmination of years of dedication and creation. In addition to writing, producing, and directing Themes & Intermissions, Dan was the primary cameraman (as well as a featured actor) in The Burningmoore Incident, which played The 2011 Berlin Film Festival. He produced and edited the silent B&W period piece Oh, How the Times Have Changed!, and edited the feature-length romantic comedy / burlesque performance piece, Love is Hard (a Burlesque Fairytale). With Themes & Intermissions finally completed, Dan is currently in pre-production for two short comedy films, and is in development for a feature-length drama entitled "Descendent".
